Young men express the main concerns for failure to marry

Nowadays the reason why young people do not marry is because they are afraid of conflict in the family.
In some communities, there is a tendency that where peace reigns, people think of having children who only go to school without supporting the family.
Mrs. Elizabeth MUKAMANA 67-year-old mother, says that her sons do not want to marry because they fear poverty
She said, "I only have one grandson, the other six don't want to, the boys of this generation fear problems."
Chantal MUDAHOGORA, a mental health specialist, says that due to the pressures of society, but advises men to marry because all families do not have a bad reputation.
She said, "Children who are getting married now or in the past ten years are sometimes those who have experienced various traumas including genocide, so if you have a bad reputation, you can influence others, maybe there is a way to help people to marry, all families are not bad, some families love each other"
The 2021-2023 crime report in Rwanda shows that the most common problem besides other crimes is domestic violence, with 3000 cases. The report shows that 80% of the resolved cases have been in conflict for 15 years.
