Some who seek for medical care around the country, express satisfaction to health institutions in Rwanda for the progress made, pointing out that the use of technology has made it easier for those who seek for medical care even though old people do not feel at ease with it.
Dr Hakiba Solange, the head of Integrated health System Activities in Rwanda say that projects and investment in health care services aim to register medical care progress and the citizen play the leading role.
She said "health care services are written on papers ,we collaborated with RRSB to the extent that now they can stop writing manually and use technology instead ,we worked together to make sure that the use of technology is accessible to everyone ,this is the message the ministry of health uses to achieve its goals".
Dr Ayingeneye Claudette,Director general of Kibuye referral hospital said that though there are still challenges regarding health care service, tremendous progress has been registered.
She further added "though we haven’t reached the level we want, in providing services in hospital and health centers with complaints from those who seek for health service due to long queues expressing their discontent, we hope that the ministry of health in collaboration with other organs will help increase the number of workers to address the challenge, however there is no more doctor who talks harshly to the patient.
A patient is entitled to expressing his/her wish which can be granted and we try to provide faster service to help the hospital management address its issues as we have been trained for that".
Technology in medicine helps doctors to take good care of patients, provide good and faster service and assist the hospital for operations and management
