Residents of Bigogwe sector in KORA center say that they are worried of a group known as B 13 mostly women who abuse them using traditional weapons and are not afraid of security guards, they live in a well-known area called B13.

The so-called B13 is a group of women who carry traditional weapons with
them and are cantankerous, it is said that these people do dubious characters
in other countries and go back to their shelter known as B 13.
When you pass nearby their residence you meet people with scars injured by those
women, and talking about them is depressing.

In an interview with residents one by one, the members of the B 13 were walking
around and when the residents saw them, they stopped talking as these B 13’’s
are not afraid of authorities in charge of security organs.

One of them said " They block you on the way, beat you, cut you down, and when
you report that to the police, police are afraid of arresting them &quot.

What seemed difficult was according to an interview with ISANGO STAR,
however, the members of B13 group eventually accepted to talk and said that
they conquered the area and no one can attack them easily unless they
surrender.

They said that the reason why they live fearlessly is because they conceived at
early age.

Police spokesperson in western province CIP MUCYO RUKUNDO said that the
the gang does such dubious activities due to drunkenness but the police will take
measures to fight against such acts of violence.

He said " it’s normal dubious acts but the police fight against that, and we will
keep teaching them to stop such evil prostitute activities&quot.
Those who know the history of B13 say that the area of residence was
named B 13 referring to an area in the USA in a movie that shows acts of
violence, being cantankerous, and other dubious acts in Bigogwe sector in
Nyabihu district.
Residents in this area revealed that are worried about the gang as their scars are
still visible.
