Delegates from 9 countries are in Rwanda for a tour study on self-promotion.

Since Wednesday an international summit is underway in KIGALI to discuss strategies on self-promotion at the international level , CAP (Congres Africain des Professionnels) say that Rwanda was chosen as host nation due to the development the country has registered which serves as example to other countries.

Today the word Visit Rwanda is known almost worldwide through various programs which have promoted the country on the international level , marketing the country in order to promote visitors for tourism as the major source of economy.
In her remarks during the summit, Michaela RUGWIZANGOGA, chief tourism officer in Rwanda Development Board (RDB) told participants from 9 countries that while Rwanda was under reconstruction process 30 years ago, significant efforts have been made to develop the nation which was destroyed by the genocide against the tutsi and now it hosts summits and sports competitions on the international level such as Basketball Africa League organized by United States of America currently underway in Kigali.
This was emphasized by Didier NKURIKIYIMFURA ,the Director of technology and innovation at Smart Africa, he said that it can also be possible elsewhere .
He had this to say “If Rwanda has been able to transform on international level in 30 years, which country cannot do it? However, I t doesn’t come by accident, it needs cooperation ,it needs good policy ,taking actions, talking about or promoting your country you must have facts, you cannot talk without showing concrete activities".
On behalf of Congre Africain des Professionnels (CAP) the organizers of the summit say that what motivated them to organize this meeting in Rwanda in promoting good qualities of Africa is because Rwanda itself serves the best example to whoever visits the country and will create opportunities in other countries .
Speaking at the occasion, Stephane Hillaire one of CAP members said « Rwanda is a great country, it is the great passage to countries which use both French and English to help us access the market of countries which use both English and French at the same time, it can help us have access to East African countries thus giving hope for the future of African economy. In brief, there are a lot of opportunities in Rwanda»
CAP meeting underway in Kigali brought together participants from 9 countries from African continent discussing about can be done in promoting distinctive qualities of those countries at the international level .The seminar was attended and sponsored by various institutions and media stations, Isango Star among others.
