
Mrs. Nyirahabineza developed from in profession of building house

Mrs. Nyirahabineza Hadjara is a resident of Kiramuruzi Sector in Gatsibo District. She testifies that she gets more money than men are working in the profession of building houses than the salary, she asks other women to be brave and take their hands out of their pockets.

She has been building classrooms for a month and a half. She says she used to work as a carpenter (reinforced concrete) and now so she could start the house from the ground up and finish it.
Mrs. Nyirahabineza Hadjara is a married mother with five children, she started this profession of building the house in 2004.
As a testimony after 16 years of working in this profession, she said: Anyone should not be afraid whether they are female or male because this is a job that supports my family. I am with my husband and the other thing is that there are other properties that I can buy."
Mrs. Nyirahabineza continues to say that he now has three forests, four cows, two fields, and a house; all this thanks to this profession.
In a short interview, she said, "I tell other women to get their hands out of their pockets and get a job”.
She continued to explain: "Because now in my work there are more men who are not paid as me, because of the technique I know."
In these times, new school buildings are being built all over Rwanda, giving jobs to the local laborers for three thousand (3,000Frw) per day, and their money will be paid in lump sums after 15 days.
