Rwanda and the Republic of Guinea-Conakry, this Wednesday, signed various cooperation agreements to further strengthen the relationship between the two countries.

12 agreements were signed in Kigali by the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of both countries, focusing on foreign affairs, security, health, culture, youth, education, sports, and other areas that promote the relationship between the two countries, as stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation, Amb. Olivier NDUHUNGIREHE."

"Today, we signed 12 cooperation agreements in various sectors, including tourism, promoting trade, youth, culture, and governance reforms. These agreements reflect a shared commitment to implementing the goals of the leaders of both countries and will serve as a foundation for further discussions on mutual interests. I want to reaffirm that Rwanda is committed to strengthening its relationship with Guinea. Our cooperation is based on trust and partnership, which will help us achieve our development goals and promote peace and security in our region."

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Guinea-Conakry, Dr. Morissanda Kouyaté, also emphasized that this cooperation is valuable and serves as a catalyst for strengthening the relationship between the two countries."

"This partnership between Rwanda and the Republic of Guinea-Conakry, I am confident that it will strengthen brotherhood and cooperation, reflecting our work. It is a valuable force and a catalyst for the relationship in all sectors and for upholding the objectives of these agreements."

Rwanda already has partnerships with the Republic of Guinea-Conakry in areas such as air transport, with flights connecting Guinea-Conakry and Kigali, as well as in tourism and trade. Additionally, embassies have been opened in both countries to further strengthen diplomatic relations.
