In the past seven years, drones have been used in Rwanda, particularly in the year 2023, primarily for spraying areas where mosquitoes breed, which is a task managed by the Ministry of Health, called malaria eradication spray and drones are very efficient.
Mrs.Joselyine GAHONZIRE said’’ they ‘administer treatment, and test blood at the attending doctor where they have come from to save the patient's life.'’
Madam Judith KANOZAYISIRE says’’ it reaches the patient with drugs in time, the patient showed blood, and then if it was hard for him to support it as you know when the drone hits the time they are given."
MazimpakaPhocas, a worker at the National Health Agency specializing in malaria prevention, states that drones have a significant impact. He says, "Drones provide very high productivity both in large fields and in urgent situations. Another use of drones is surveillance if people are working in the fields and they see birds flying high, it tells them to spray to destroy malaria, which assists greatly in preventing illness.
