Before receiving the training, Nsengiyumva mentioned that he was very complicated

“I once fought with my wife; she wounded me on the head and they were going to imprison her. It was in those circumstances that the AEGIS Trust came to train us,” he said.

“Now, the conflict was settled. We started the development journey; my children went back to school.  My child is studying in high school, I’m paying his school fees,” Nsengiyumva added.

Nsengiyumva, who lives in Nyarugenge District, Nyamirambo Sector, revealed that as soon as he was trained, changed and started helping other families out of conflict.

Mrs. Uwamungu, who trained him, emphasized that this man has changed and play a huge role in their society.

“Before, their neighbour didn’t believe him due to the way they knew him as a terrible-man who can’t support his wife and children. When Nsengiyumva fought with her, no one could interfere,” she said.

Mrs. Uwase Adelaide, Nsengiyumva’s wife, confirms that her husband's transformation has helped their home to be peaceful and developed, especially for her because she was supposed to be imprisoned after wounding him.

“Now, we work together in everything while our children never drop out of school again. We are safe at home and our future is bright. I'm a very happy woman, that's for sure! ” she stated with a big smile.

Usually, the families trained to strengthen the principle of equality and harmony are the families that live in the conflict in the program of strengthening the principle of men for good, where that has produced satisfactory results for all parties because many people were trained and then went to train families in conflict and they get out of these matters.
